Looking to the future, it won’t be easy to feed the world in a changing climate, and farmers will not be able to do it alone. Making food production climate-smart requires investments in agriculture, knowledge of locally suitable and harmonized policies.

The video of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) shows how men and women farmers and other decision makers have applied the climate-smart agriculture approach in practice.

It is essential to develop sustainable agriculture in each country. Agroforestry, the practice of integrating trees and woodland areas into agricultural land, offers significant ecological and economic benefits.

Combining fruit trees and infill vegetable, you will be creating already profit in the first 3 to 4 years with central pivot irrigations systems for tall crops. By changing the type of the fruit trees and vegetable per circle biodiversity will be created.

Through the disruptive sustainable agriculture approach of the Dutch Food Security Alliance the impact of Climate approach also will help to be won.
